Don Draper - I'm late, but you're not. Good work so far.

I strive for excellence, nothing mediocre - Don Draper, this is such a beautiful quote, excellence has no rule book we are all different and wish to follow different paths but I think at the core of the subject we should all strive for perfection, and again perfection looks different to each individual. Don is such a magnetic character, I do not agree with everything he has said for example: “The reason you haven't felt it is because it doesn't exist. What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons. You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts. But I never forget. I'm living like there's no tomorrow, because there isn't one”, I know right how bold, dramatic and depressing. But for those of us who watch the show we clearly understand this selfish person has worked and suffered like a Mad Person. However he does act and looks like a gentleman, I personally think that’s who he truly is it’s just that he has been smashed and shattered so much, that at times he has no regards for inappropriate behavior. I find that invigorating, if you stand for something whatever that may be why take the time to listen or acknowledge what other think, they don’t comprehend what brought you to that particular decision. Have you ever had a conversation with a Superhero? And I’m referring to a real superhero not your superman action figure hahahaha, our answer will probably be NO, but, have you ever stood in the presence of a person who makes you feel like he/she is a superhero? That person makes you feel like they have no fear and can overtake anything. That’s what Don makes me feel, so in a way he classified as a Hero in my book. He earns the respect of others, by his hard working ethics,  he doesn’t just talk he walks the walk. He is intensely private! This guy can keep a secret and I’m not talking about others dirty-laundry which I’m sure he would also respect, but as a person he sure makes me wonder. Please enjoy the following video and tell me he didn’t inspire you too, if I was the VP of any of this corporations I would definitely use his expertise …

Oh Don... what to say about Don? He is able to do and say what he desires because of the way he carries himself. Jerk? Yes, you can say "jerk," but authoritative is the main adjective. The madness he's experienced is hidden by the decision that he won't allow that same madness consume him. He likes to believe it doesn't... hence so many women and drinks. But in the end, they're not enough ... not enough to make his past completely go away.

Last week I was extremely sick! I really rarely get sick however I’ve been under a lot of stress regarding work dilemmas and household issues. And now I truly believe what they say, feeling sad can trigger physical sickness. Which means I haven’t really worked-out the past two weeks and that makes me feel extremely guilty. I feel ashamed of myself, I always think that the greatest humans are those who are disciplined in every aspect of their lives. I always look for people that inspire me, however in my inner circle only a couple of people enjoy burning off some steam. So with this said I search the internet for inspiration and I stumbled upon these two strong individuals, one of them surprisingly is a Vegan!!! Being a vegetarian I do not have the misconception that a non-meat eater could never gain muscle. But even so it felt like a wake-up call just a tad, it has   inspired me to change my diet, I will give this food plan a go, what’s the worst that could happen … let’s all get i

The whole world is in chess. Any move can be the death of you. Do anything except remain where you started, and you can't be sure of your end. Were you sure of your end once?

Living in agreement with nature

Riddle me this... sweat everywhere sunscreen in my eyes, hair sticking to the back of my neck... did you say summer? yup you guessed it, that's how summer feels. Did you know that wind blowing between  trees almost sounds like ocean waves? well now you know. Joe and I took a trip to the top of a mountain channeling our inner quest. Once up there the silence was unmatched the only sound was the wind running through the evergreen trees. I inhaled that clean air as if I might never get the opportunity to do it again. This summer is different. Summers although not my favorited season always symbolized change. I find it a bit comical, I thrive during summer and go into a slumber during winter.  We started the morning by listening to Joe Abercrombie's "The Blade Itself" It's definitely top 10 on Joe's book list. Speaking of lists this is how our day went:  Enjoyed the road filled with evergreen trees very "Virgen River" nothing wrong with that. Had break
