This weekend was filled with this image, I was sick, Ian was sick it was complete madness. I wanted to spend time with family and friends however this plans shattered like glass falling hard on concrete!!! The light through the window was lovely this image makes me remember so many things! Yes I do regret staying home, but it also filled me with warmth I felt home if you understand that feeling. I’ve moved several times in the last three years I’ve moved three times! It’s insane I feel like a nomad_ wait I think moving once every year makes me a nomad. Enjoy the Images below :D

Yes this letter is dedicated to myself, this blog has been about so many different things! I reflection of my love for everything vintage, the 80’s and 90’s and also what inspires, and my utter love for nature. In this case what am about to show you does inspire me to do better to make a difference.

Dear Monzerrat ( this is my middle name)

I am very sad to inform you, that even though Mother Nature gives us everything people seem to forget that constantly! This small documentary am sending you isn’t probably relatable to life in California , but it definitely affects my spirit. It makes me think what can I do about it? What do you think you could do about it? for example I became a very strict vegetarian, slaughtering animals isn’t just cruel its affecting the way of life it affects the world, did you know that with the grains that are forcefully grown to feed all the animals that get slaughtered, all hungry children in the world could be fed!!! Isn’t that amzing! Why can’t greedy man see this? I have nothing against meat, but you see so many people say, well Indigenous people killed animals yes they did KILL animals for food for survival for essential nutrition, However they did not SLOUTTER animals! They respected an animal’s life like their own.

Now this is going on in Mexico, and Peru but in the us so many inappropriate behavior goes on as well we might not be able to save the Rain Forest bit we can start with baby steps for example: Take a nature walk, “hug a tree”, and commune with the nature spirits all around. The Indian has always been a lover of nature and a close observer of her many moods. The habits of the birds and animals, the voices of the winds and waters, the flickering of the shadows, and the mystic radiance of the moonlight - all appealed to him. Gradually, he formulated within himself fanciful reasons for the myriad manifestations of the Mighty Mother and her many children; and a poet by instinct, he framed odd stories with which to convey his explanations to others. And these stories were handed down from father to son, with little variation, through countless generations, until the white man slaughtered the buffalo, took to himself the open country, and left the red man little better than a beggar. But the tribal storyteller has passed, and only here and there is to be found a patriarch who loves the legends of other days.

Ok so who doesn’t want to be by the fire and have amazing stories told, I do I do and this is a very amazing story so please enjoy!

"How the Man Found His Mate"

Each tribe has its own stories. Most of them deal with the same subjects, differing only in immaterial particulars.

Instead of squirrels in the timber, the Black-feet are sure they were prairie-dogs that OLD-man roasted that time when he made the mountain lion long and lean. The Chippewas and Crees insist that they were squirrels that were cooked and eaten, but one tribe is essentially a forest-people and the other lives on the plains - hence the difference.

Some tribes will not wear the feathers of the owl, nor will they have anything to do with that bird, while others use his feathers freely.

The forest Indian wears the soft-soled moccasin, while his brother of the plains covers the bottoms of his footwear with rawhide, because of the cactus and prickly-pear, most likely.

The door of the lodge of the forest Indian reaches to the ground, but the plains Indian makes his lodge skin to reach all about the circle at the bottom, because of the wind.

One night in War Eagle's lodge, Other- person asked: "Why don't the Bear have a tail, grandfather?"

War Eagle laughed and said: "Our people do not know why, but we believe he was made that way at the beginning, although I have heard men of other tribes say that the Bear lost his tail while fishing.

"I don't know how true it is, but I have been told that a long time ago the Bear was fishing in the winter, and the Fox asked him if he had any luck.

"'No,' replied the Bear, 'I can't catch a fish.'

"'Well,' said the Fox, 'if you will stick your long tail down through this hole in the ice, and sit very still, I am sure you will catch a fish.'

"So the Bear stuck his tail through the hole in the ice, and the Fox told him to sit still, till he called him; then the Fox went off, pretending to hunt along the bank. It was mighty cold weather, and the water froze all about the Bear's tail, yet he sat still, waiting for the Fox to call him. Yes, the Bear sat so still and so long that his tail was frozen in the ice, but he didn't know it. When the Fox thought it was time, he called:

"'Hey, Bear, come here quick - quick! I have a Rabbit in this hole, and I want you to help me dig him out.' Ho! The Bear tried to get up, but he couldn't.

"'Hey, Bear, come here - there are two Rabbits in this hole,' called the Fox.

"The Bear pulled so hard to get away from the ice, that he broke his tail off short to his body. Then the Fox ran away laughing at the Bear.

"I hardly believe that story, but once I heard an old man who visited my father from the country far east of here, tell it. I remembered it. But I can't say that I know it is true, as I can the others.

"When I told you the story of how OLD-man made the world over, after the water had made its war upon it, I told you how the first man and woman were made. There is another story of how the first man found his wife, and I will tell you that.

"After OLD-man had made a man to look like himself, he left him to live with the Wolves, and went away. The man had a hard time of it, with no clothes to keep him warm, and no wife to help him, so he went out looking for OLD-man.

"It took the man a long time to find OLD- man's lodge, but as soon as he got there he went right in and said:

"'OLD-man, you have made me and left me to live with the Wolf-people. I don't like them at all. They give me scraps of meat to eat and won't build a fire. They have wives, but I don't want a Wolf-woman. I think you should take better care of me.'

"'Well,' replied OLD-man, 'I was just waiting for you to come to see me. I have things fixed for you. You go down this river until you come to a steep hillside. There you will see a lodge. Then I will leave you to do the rest. Go!'

"The man started and travelled all that day. When night came he camped and ate some berries that grew near the river. The next morning he started down the river again, looking for the steep hillside and the lodge. Just before sundown, the man saw a fine lodge near a steep hillside, and he knew that was the lodge he was looking for; so he crossed the river and went into the lodge.

"Sitting by the fire inside, was a woman. She was dressed in buckskin clothes, and was cooking some meat that smelled good to the man, but when she saw him without any clothes, she pushed him out of the lodge, and dropped the door.

"Things didn't look very good to that man, I tell you, but to get even with the woman, he went up on the steep hillside and commenced to roll big rocks down upon her lodge. He kept this up until one of the largest rocks knocked down the lodge, and the woman ran out, crying.

"When the man heard the woman crying, it made him sorry and he ran down the hill to her. She sat down on the ground, and the man ran to where she was and said:

"'I am sorry I made you cry, woman. I will help you fix your lodge. I will stay with you, if you will only let me.'

"That pleased the woman, and she showed the man how to fix up the lodge and gather some wood for the fire. Then she let him come inside and eat. Finally, she made him some clothes, and they got along very well, after that.

"That is how the man found his wife - Ho!"

The weekend here in a LA isn’t the typical sun shining one, its cold cloudy and Sunday we had rain, and when I say had rain I meant it rained cats and dogs , maybe it stopped raining for about 5 minutes, it was madness!!! But you know what! I loved it!!

On Saturday I had a blast with family! I really did, it’s the best! I also dyed my hair but these photos do not show the end result but my hair is now black! I had to, I always darken my hair during the winter I just think it’s appropriate _ it goes with the mystery winter gives. I love it people seem to look at me strange, I do look like Wednesday Adams , but that’s great right. For some reason I feel more confidant and stronger I know it sounds odd but it’s the reality living inside my head. Back to the important things, family I had a blast with all my cousins they are the most charming and I love them all for its individual personality, they are dreamers, investigators, they question the wonders of earth. They love to party and know how to have fun! I had a blast!

This weekend was incredible! Not only did one of my lovelies cousins graduate from college, but I had a very close encounter with nature_ I’ll post some grad photos later on, but for now ill share some clear views and a windy afternoon _ we’ve been land scouting it sounds funny but true_ we are not city people no matter what we do we can’t understand why we have to be caged in _ our current home is beautiful wood, green grass amazing water fountain _ but our neighborhood is very delicate we are not allowed to wash our cars ( why I don’t know) and pass 8pm we shouldn’t be making any noises , but the problem is that we are the only ones NOT making noise everybody has terrible racking noises going on which really spikes me up. Am not against noise I mean when neighbors have parties you can catch me dancing in my room along with the music _ but the fact that it’s NOT ALLOWED/RESTRICTED makes everything so hostile._ so I went to my dad’s little farm this weekend _ and spent the day scouting the land for future ( or shall I say soon to move) investment _ we found an amazing place that I really loved! With a horse included ( I know right horse included ) but it’s true we had major fun _ just sitting smelling the fresh cold air, running free, finding random things _ the starry sky was a DREAM in LA this never ever happens !!! Like I always say in LA you can’t really see stars all you see are the moon and mars and other planets. We had radiohead playing on the back which definitely sets the mood, and some random CD Ian purchased at a thrift shop a day before _ oh gosh now that I remember I did find amazing things at that shop! Clothing, home décor! It was so exiting until I found myself standing in front of a huge, massive James Dean frame _ my heart was pounding so hard, as a walk to the front desk and ask the cashier if someone would help me, she sent over a lady called Mitra, I had a five minute conversation explaining how much I loved her name_ anyways back to James Dean apparently the frame wasn’t for sale!!!! I mean if you’re not going to sale it, why display the frame in the for sale section! But putting this unfortunate event aside I had a thrilling wonderful weekend!

Mid-week and I feel close to freedom, sometimes I feel like Henry David Thoreau when he said “Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends... Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.” Finding the meaning of life is hard when you’re forced to step out of your comfort zone constantly or when your life is surrounded by distress. This quote helps me understand one thing; we do not need to waste our lives in search of something we might already have. Say, at time we might feel lonely because what, we only have five friends. When in reality we should be feeling blessed, not all humans have the privilege of calling someone a best friend. Like Dock from Tombstone he placed he’s own life on the line for his friend, and yes it’s a movie but sometimes we feel this way when it comes to our family, our Lovers, and our close friends. So the lesson learned is cherish that one unconditional someone. I personally had a problem with new things, about three years ago; I mean I couldn’t go to a drugstore without purchasing 4-5 make-up items! And most of the things I bought I never used! But all this unwise spending came to an end, and that was a brilliant day, I realized that I didn’t really need all these things, so I started focusing on things that had special meaning to me,. By doing this I kept my own thoughts and believes about society and its influence on me. No matter what new café I visit downtown or what amazing concert I view, the most amazing view is a lovely sunset and the sound of water splashing against rocks, or the smell of wood on a foggy day_ enjoy life… I know, I know this post was a bit long, but I just had to share this….

This is a new post featuring my rearranged room! Winter is knocking on my door and throwing rocks at my window and between you and me , I don’t really mind it one bit. The chill air brings back wonderful memories and it also makes my brain burst of joy , am just imagining the wonderful adventures I will have! With Mother Nature everything is possible. My room consists of the things I love the most wood, animals and darkness, I had fun creating this post . my living room is also a dream full of dark curtains and dark wood, a piano that has lived longer then I would ever imagine and frames that have traveled through many generations, my home is like a little museum (I feel like the Adams family) , but back to the post I really hope you enjoy it.

Ok so this post will consist of two topics, what I’ve been doing lately – and I post dedicated to my dear friend Lisa and her boyfriend or shall I say fiancé Rob …. Please enjoy.

This weekend was strange, I usually go out with friends or family to our little farm or simply go shopping but for some bizarre reason I stayed home and enjoyed a marathon of VH films! My room was dark , obscured, the windows covered with a dark royal blue velvet cover and the smell in the air was coffee all the way enjoying some vegan cookies. I enjoyed episodes of The Adam’s Family and all films Adam’s ! sorry but can I just state my obsession with Morticia , I mean this woman wears incredibly tight dresses and looks stunning plus her long dark hair literally does hypnotized me! But what’s even more wonderful is her sweet yet scary personality! I mean she respects Debbie even though she’s evil but she can’t stand pastels.. Love her! And Oh! Do not get me started with Gomez if I would marry someone it would have to be a passionate loving, strange, dark, handsome gentleman like Gomez! He adores, worships, woos Morticia and thats rare, how wicked is this :D

California is definitely my home - everything I love is here, the culture the language everything is here! But my grandparents come from different places, when I was younger 15-17 I didn’t really care about my families backdrop. Now a couple years later I feel privileged to have a second language, am able to take advantage of a different culture and language. My great grandmothers hometown was Spain, My grandfather was a Native American strange but this is reality. On my fathers side Mexican blood flows through their blood and mine… mixing all these things together is incredible my brother is a dark blonde green eyed guy with cinnamon skin and am a light brown hair, brown eyed pale skin gal, its comical at times. And just now am experimenting with my backdrop, am watching Spanish films and listening to awesome Spanish band!! Well not all the time I still cant and will never stop listening to my favorite 80-90’s its impossible!! Depech Mode I still love you! The entertainment industry is never ending but when you have other countries involved trust me its very thrilling and on top of that my French understanding is very advance which allows me to explore French films. Yes I love red lipstick; I usually wear red lipstick or a darker shade of red with minimal foundation and no mascara… I think its feminine and chic.

However I find myself feeling much more confident with a bare face!! I doubt I would ever say this in my teen years, but it has finally happened- sometimes I feel like wearing a little something especially when am going out with friends Ex: Mascara, Eyeliner, foundation, blush ,and lipstick ………. But more and more often I feel like having a bare skin I always wear perfume I feel naked without it. But sporting a bare face is hard work I have to make sure my skin is top notch, and that takes time and consistency and those factors aren’t easily acquired, But with hard work I’ve managed to complete this rewarding task..

I’ve been discussing hair for a while if not much in this blog definitely inside my head. A lovely friend said she loved my long hair mainly because it looks so natural and not over done always simple, and she’s right I have long straight hair I think I have no layers not sure mmmm yea no layers. I’ve wanted to chop of my hair!! Am inspired by the 40’s little bob and finger-waves look, but I recall two years ago when I decided to also chop my hair, the next day I wanted my long hair back! So am extremely iffy about it. Marrion sports a lovely replica, and looking at her just makes me want to do it even more lol!! These photos Inspire me;;;

This morning has been slow and am missing the weekend already, when you spend amazing time with friends the weekends just disappears - am sipping on a latte mmmm my father always tells me “what’s with people and lattes?, just get a black coffee and Vuala!” and I tell him “Dad strong people like you drink plain coffee, but I sometimes like a softer approach to coffee, but you know I love dark coffee!” and he tells me “Wimp” (funny). Am also thinking about shopping hitting up some fancy thrifts in Hollywood but I haven’t had time and I really need to!! am having an even in no time and I must be ready! I’s a bit comical how I wont let go of this blog, the purpose for this blog has changed many times and its original intentions vanished like a dark chocolate bar in my hands. If I go back 5 mouths this blog contained photos in which I myself was featured and I had a brilliant time working on my mini photo-shoots, unfortunately I haven’t had time to do that in a while, so my blog has taken a different road at least for a while. It’s the place in which a place ideas and things that motivate me fashion wise, and on a simple daily basis.

The brits are always cool so are Americans nothing wrong with Cali and Hollywood. But I’ve found an amazing cute couple and am sure many of you know who they are so I don’t even have to bother and mention their names. If you are a daily reader you know am obsesses with redheads!!! I love them I just find red hair sooooooo unique and strange, but I myself wouldn’t want to have red hair I just admire from a lovely distance. And Jamie seems to think the same way, you always see him frolicking around redheads.

I have to be honest, I can’t stop ranting about Eva Green, I haven’t seen all her film (and I call myself a fan!!) but I go to her when it comes to fashion inspiration. She’s French which adds to her unique style and unique beauty concept, she’s a bit on the Goth side and my favorite color is :Black- so inevitably I had to fall in love with her style!!… I would also recommend Santa Maria Novella perfume “Melo Grano” it’s a wonderful mature classy fragrance ( which you see above in one of the screen-caps from 007). Am glad she took that roll she mentioned she didn’t really want to be a Bond girl but when she realize she was the Original bong girl, and perhaps the only woman James Bond has ever loved she jumped into the project, Am really glad she did. Eva is an incredible actress and adds depth and mystery to the character she's not just an attractive bimbo she’s a smart strong, stylish woman and she gets that point across using Vesper as her shield.

I’ve had many blog buddies that are French, and I love the language which is why I took French several times in High school, I even took a semester in collage while still attending high school this was four years ago but the French are still a mystery. Most if not all my favorite actresses are French and they have a way of walking and speaking, very modest but alluring at the same time, they have a motherly side and a mischievous side its incredibly confusing. Most French films are mind spinning which add to my love for the French. What has captured my attention this week was an article I read about how French woman stay thin, am definitely not obsessed with being thin but I do love taking care of my health.

And I mean love to take care of my health!!! I love going to local farm-markets and drinking loads of tea and water. And I’m beginning to understand that I abstain from many delicious dishes because according to me they have plenty of sugar and salt. I learned something very interesting from this report/ article; I was wrong!!!! The secret of eating bread and cheese and other fatty meals like the French is to make sure your ingredients are fresh, NO chemicals. The trick is also to eat in very small portions, and to EAT SLOW!!!! The French take about 44 min to finish a meal while Americans take 14 min this is very surprising and scary! So using these techniques I will indulge in plenty more dishes making sure the products are fresh, consuming small portions, and eating slow. My first dish will be Vanilla crepes mmmmm! With real butter but am not buying it from the super market, am heading to my local organic street market I’ve actually visited some of the farms, I always make small talk with the farmers and some of them have invited me over they see me every week how can they not, right? am always so enthusiastic, when I smell fresh thyme or a sample of pure honey or a slice of seasonal pears my love for natural fresh fruit is hysterical. Am working on my garden its March and soon many of my flowers will start to bloom the smell of roses will be flowing in the air and the soft sun kissing my skin, oh I cant wait!!!!!! – Please enjoy these amazing photos of two of my favorite French actresses.

Its Friday and am up very early zipping on coffee, yesterday was the day I break from my dreadful routine, don’t get me wrong I still have to work but in a different branch. Yesterday I had some time on my hands and I spent it Gardening, yes gardening am 22 but I love getting rid of the bad plants and smelling my roses. One day not far from today I wish to own an outstanding Garden full of lovely little roads and small ponds and incredible flowers. Which brings me to a wonderful film that I also enjoyed last night “A Good Year” it has an amazing cast such as Russell Crowe, Marion Cotillard when you place these two actors in a film something extraordinary happens. But the cast wasn’t the only thing that captivated my heart it was the story!! Russell plays a character that to my opinion resembles my life well not entirely am not as wealthy as the character is, but my life is surrounded by never taking a vacation working non-stop in other words, struggling with dreadful co-workers who never produce a good deed. Getting tangled in their competitive mode and listening to them rant about useless thing that to them mean the world. Getting home at 6pm and knowing I don’t have time to do what I really want to do because I have other responsibilities and plus the next day I must wake-up early to start the same dysfunctional routine. Oh what a life huh? The trip the character takes if far from the trip I’ll take, but it refreshes the though of running free, feeling the cold air for once, not giving a damn about my boss and my job responsibilities not caring about what my life should look like at the moment and not asking my self over and over again why aren’t I happy? – The film gave me an inner tingle that has lingered and I hope it continues to do so; I can’t get enough of it. Please purchase, rent, or barrow……………. This film is wonderful, it contains an enchanting realistic story, full of witty dialog and realistic romance, the locations are magnificent. ♥

Incredible landscapes.............

I don’t have a camera! And I’ve sunken into depression, well not exactly but it really makes me feel like my life is passing by and am not holding onto anything. This weekend was going to be me Ian and the infinite country- the racking and lights of the city are so yesterday I need fresh air and a nice café, I will sit and through the window see snowy mountains awwww. But life seems not to be on my side these couple of days working extra hours more reconciles!!! Lovely friends going through hard emotional situations, Lando is sick and I don’t have a camera!!!! So this trip will have to wait. Yesterday I had a Long bath and I mean LONG I had like a pre-socke session that’s how long it was and a blast of freezing cold water! Apparently it is great for blood circulation but does it have to be that painful? I was freezing! Plus LA isn’t sunny at the moment. After I was out of the shower I prepared my gel eye mask which wasn’t as relaxing as I though, I kept thinking why do I have this on? And I couldn’t shut my eyes no mater what I did so I decided to forget about the gel eye mask and go back to my trusty friends chamomile frozen tea bags, and felt much better ultimate relaxation and my eyes are less puffy today.

At the moment am zipping on dark coffee, but am actually craving a chi latte! I’ve been craving it since yesterday afternoon but I was sooo exhausted and lazy I decided it would have to wait till today and it now today and what do you know I still haven had my chi latte hahahaha!! girls…… When I feel like having an adventure it usually has to do with the fact that am in love with The Lord Of The Rings! And most of those incredible landscapes inspire me, and make me want to walk those amazing roads that incredible green grass!! mother nature is incredible!.

Hello Friday how are you? Well am just happy your paying me a visit its been extremely hectic ….. Life is a challenge at times but we move forward ……………………..one of my dearest friends is going through a very difficult time and it affects me in many ways, but am helping out as much as possible I hope I can share the details of my ordeal later on. Shiloh Fernandez is such an attractive young guy; I know he’s coming up in a very anticipated film, focused on a more youthful audience. I’ll be honest am definitely not wasting my time with this film, I don’t throw away my time with rubbish films but he caught my eye!! He looks like Joaquin Phoenix! So am sitting and wondering will I ever show the bravery some of these characters show for their friends? And it brings me to a state of mind in which I dream and smell green, and the fresh air lingers under my hair, and the sun plays with my skin and in the cold nights I sit outside in a wonderful green hill with coffee in my hands and count stars while the sound of instruments play softly from a far. Happy Happy Tuesday I know I know I should of said this yesterday since it was the beginning of the week but work was hectic I was getting out of a meeting when we had to start another. When I finally do make it home the only thing in my mind was coffee and sweet potato, plus I had some reading to do. Am in serious need of remodeling my room! Sometimes the routine makes me feel extremely depressed and my room is lovely as well as my garden but I always need a change, is that terrible or what? And its not just with my room its with my hair, make-up , clothing and music am pretty sure a name for this disease exists. I also need to snap pictures! I’ve been so busy it’s been maybe half a year and I haven’t posted any pics of me –(well except the one above). I also need to start buying some cooking books am getting sick of veggie burgers and fried Tofu, and Tofu soup (nothing wrong with that but I need to spice things up a bit, Any good Books???? (Please Help!!!) I’ve also been looking through my blog and I’ve changed soooooo much not only physically but mentally, its so strange it’s a very surreal feeling but am loving it…… well lovely readers I have to say goodbye for know that’s for reading and I’ll talk to you soon (wink wink :-D)- Enjoy the photos they inspire me and I hope they do the same for you!

Hair Hair Hair and more Hair!!! Lately I’ve been obsesses with Rachel Bilson’s hair, everybody’s obsessed with Alexa Chung’s two toned hair, and I don’t blame them, however am more of a long haired gal it just makes me feel me. So this is when my obsession with Rachel bilson begins, she has long locks so it helps to see what my hair might look like when its dyed, but at the same time I love my dark hair and this picture got my brain all twisted; The model with her dark locks just looks that much mysterious and that much earthy Geeze why do I always get myself into these things why oh why!!!!??

Many times I cant sip my mouth and I keep telling my friends Johnny Depp is sooooo handsome and so Cary Grant, the response I receive is not the one am fishing for, they all rant about how old they are and its like liking my own father!!!! How dare they! For example last night I was watching this awesome film and a well known actor shocks the screen Karl Urban, now many of you might know him from Lord Of the Rings-(am a big fan of LOTR) but he didn’t really capture my attention till he hit he’s thirties. Something about the roughness and poise makes me wonder mmmmm I guess being in our 20’s isn’t everything right? (well am still in my 20’s wish I could say the same when am in my 30’s hahahahaha) These photos are of incredible handsome man who may not be 20 but they sure have class, first model that fits into the logotype; Tall, Dark and Handsome is Andres Velencoso Segura – Just look at that face chiseled features, dark hair;

Our second contender is Nacho Figueras, this man has a poise that is just hard to capture using words, not only is he incredibly good-looking but he’s eyes are hypnotizing- I see a bit of evil but a whole lot of charming!

Our third and last Man candy is Larry Scott- this guy has unique features that just made me look twice, hes like the rest of his mates, has an incredible mature roughness which could only be acquired with age obviously. Mid-week well not exactly but I feel like I still have a long way to go, reconciling things license renewals and policies I think am getting a flash back from last year how odious. Like they say think must be done, and these things have to be erased from my “What To Do List” pronto. In other more amazing news am having a blast with my amazing and incredible change- movement is the meaning of life so sometimes a bit of fun and uncertainty is just what’s needed. So for today my positive energy is overflowing my mind, am seeing colors and smiles everywhere, what’s behind this change of mind well I think am just plain sick of feeling self pity. Yes am a very young girl living the life of a 40 year old woman having way to much responsibility but I have an amazing family who supports my wacky ideas, and an amazing pack of lads and sweet ladies as friends what more can someone ask for?? Am still rocking the aggravating yet rewarding Vegetarian life. In many cases being a vegetarian has its rewards 1) I sleep well at night- I love animals and when I see meat I think of flesh, and the skwimish feeling goes on and on.2) I don’t panic about gaining weight, being a vegetarian implicates eating a variety of healthy foods to satisfy my hunger and nourish my body. 3) My skin looks brighter, a lot of people have said “mmm am a vegetarian but why isn’t my skin tighter and brighter? well many vegetarians make the terrible mistake of including a variety of Junk food in their diets that’s a big No NO!, it only makes you an unhealthy person and the lack of nutrients reflects on your skin, you have to substitute the gap of meat with Soy products low in Sodium and sugar- Junk food isn’t called Junk Food for nothing. 4) I feel better about myself, eating the way I do isn’t easy but I fully understand am taking good care of my body, I don’t make it work harder to digest meat, and I don’t make it struggle when it comes to my sodium and sugar intake I hydrate it constantly and by doing that I show myself how much I care for me hahahahah! 5) Its opened my eyes to a whole new world, I’ve tasted so many new and exotic fruits and vegetables, pure delicious grains and uncountable finger licking dishes. However sometimes sustaining this life take a lot of effort Ex: 1) people constantly saying what a dimwitted person I am, Many people have a very incorrect point of view when it comes to vegetarians they think we love to hug trees and hate people who eat meat, I personally have NO friends yes I said it, No friends that have the same eating habits as I do. This doesn’t mean anything to me; every single person has its own morals I cant kill animals for food period. 2) Not only do people mock us, but they criticize our nutrition- apparently we don’t eat enough protein oh and we will soon die- am not making this up lads, its true random blokes have mention this to my face the nerve of these people!! , But I understand where this is coming from I’ve actually met very unhealthy vegetarians not only are they shedding their bodies of important nutrient which will affect them later and creating a dirty name for all of us vegetarians.3) People also mentioning we think we are better then others because we don’t eat mean (stating we think our morals are higher then others)- this is a massive lie, if people like meat they like meat- me for example: fully understand that Cows suffer a lot and I don’t want to get specific, but once in a while I have some Plain Tart am human!! I love the taste what can I do- so I understand many people cope the aggressiveness of slaughtering houses, but they love meat and I respect that.

So this year am still pushing forward and maintaining my exercise routine and healthy eating habits, many of you are also vegetarians and I’ve actually swapped some recipes (these photos are meant as an inspiration we are not alone.)

Am sorry I think am just a born pessimist, I was listening to "The smashing pumpkins" amazing song "Crush" and my friend said "what a wonderful Love song" I didn’t reply. The reason for that is simple Crush = Lust not love period, plus the lyrics reads like this, "You wrap your arms around me"- why is she wrapping her arms around him, if he’s the one apparently highly in love?. "Just Taste the drink that she servers” hummm so he feels a bit forced to accept the only think available?. "All that matters is love, Love, your love"- so it means the affection he feels towards her is lacking love, hence the phrase "your love" he understands fully that her love is true. "And I wonder if it matters to me, love comes in colors I can’t deny, all that shimmers is love, love, your love"- when a person stops and wonders if what they got themselves into isn’t important or doesn’t matter then clearly it isn’t love……. However!!! This song is one of the greatest songs even written, it explains to perfection the state in which humans sometimes get confused about love, we wonder is this love? Or simply, I like this person and what the heck, I’ll give it a go? I think this song is about a woman who’s in love with a gentleman, but she loves him more then he will ever love her. He’s in a toxic relationship, one that is hard to cut but feels completely empty. He can feel the immense love showed by her and feels attached to the feeling itself and not her, and definitely not true love its more of a CRUSH, he wants her to understand that even though he doesn’t love her the same way she does, hes still with her and the only thing true to him is Her love.

My thoughts this morning are hummm very dark; this picture of me explains to perfection how I feel inside. I bit scared and a bit off hahahaha!. Am feeling bombarded by rude people all the time! I don’t mean to sound like a pest but my words are nothing but the truth. Dodgy stares, harsh snatching of items from my hands, people making incorrect assumptions(measuring a book by its cover in other words) sarcastic comments. Geez who would want to walk the outside world when its full of unpleasant blokes?.. I know I wouldn’t but as everybody else I must.” Don’t do things to others that you yourself wouldn’t like to receive” that’s exactly my point! I smile and say good morning, maybe I shouldn’t apparently nobody answers- just say it back geez. If a waiter brings things to the table I always say thank you, but what do they say “Nothing”, please explain why the manners from the 50’s have vanished or are no longer relevant? Well if flying wasn’t scary I would do it, Yes its impossible to fly, are you sure about that? Every time we make a change in our lives we flying. Everybody is always saying oh I would love to fly, wouldn’t it be wonderful to fly? But if we could fly it would be a new experience and utterly scary (not that I have done it before, please don’t categorize me as a mad person) but am being honest, the unknown is always frightening and it will continue to be till we humans exist. This weekend particularly was one of those days, I was excited about all the changes that I must do, yet I wanted the day to end and feel the way I felt yesterday. I feel like welcoming The Beatles in my life again and singing the lovely song Yesterday, wouldn’t that be brilliant? So as am trying to express my thoughts in this post am thinking about all of you reading and hoping you grasp my message. And am also thinking about myself ( how selfish ) years from know when am reading my blog and I remember all the things I’ve done will I be proud of myself, will I laugh at the crazy insignificant fears I had as a young adult? Wow this is making me laugh already how pathetic but oh well after all this is my virtual diary. I remember a while back I wrote a poem that unfortunately hasn’t been shared or should I say fortunately? Regardless of that, it is brilliant work I say, and I quoted someone extremely wise within the context of my brilliant poem and this phrase has hunted my life day and night and the dreadful line reads like this “ The only thing certain in life is change”. However sometimes we change for the worst and sometimes, something completely wonderful happens we find our path in life. OK so it’s a new year, and everybody is happy about the amazing future adventures they will all have. Am not a pessimist I’m happy a new year is knocking on my door, I’ve been wanting to change some aspects of my life for a very long time so this is the perfect time to do so. However inside I feel a bit of nostalgia thinking about the incredible times I had last year and how they will never return, this iffy little feeling has been my trusted companion for the past two days and am utterly ready to melt it off. – SO the only way I can do that is think of the exiting thing I can pursue and accomplish this year like;

*Visit random shops and Random restaurants!! It worked wonders for me last year and am just hoping it gets better and better.

These cloudy cold days bring meditation and reflection to my heart. I catch myself thinking about bizarre things like Leonardo DiCaprio, I’ll admit I had a huge crush on him ( ok ok I still do) but I think the fact that the first films I poked into, had something to do with romance and love. Which explains why a dreamer like me would admire an actor like him, the way he gets lost in his lovers eyes the way his inner sadness drips from his eyes, and the way I feel after his films is priceless. I end-up in love-Nederland or in a very depressing stage that not even the strongest depression pill can help. When his gasping for air because his heart is just to big and to much in pain to settle down is disturbingly amazing from my point of view, I don’t have a twisted mind I just really really admire human behavior. And Leo pulls it off amazingly don’t you think?

Oh the weekend flew by so fast and soooo soon, I still smell my hot coco and Audrey’s voice is ringing in my ears, Sabrina is such a wonderful film its an ultimate classic. It really got me thinking about an inspiring vacation, am sure it will refresh my mind and change my point of view on many things going on in my life at the moment. Sometimes when you meet new people things change the world seems like a playground that has been forgotten and little by little we pick-up the peaces and begin to create our hopes once again. The weekend went by slow with cloudy days and constant rain not surprising me, I listened to “The Doors” all weekend long and watched Kelso say “Burn” so many times and Hyde “ say whatever and Zen” it never gets old. I think I even started thinking Jackie is the pretties’ girl on earth she sure likes to say that, and am still not over Donna’s red hair and how different a son can be from father Red.- it was all good fun I met wonderful people over the weekend it brought warmth to my heart and cheer to my soul. I also spent a lot of time just walking in my pajamas drinking coffee/ hot chocolate and having some green tea cookies which I loved.- how was your weekend?

Fridays movie was around 10:45 and to my surprise the theater was full, it was around 1:15 am when the movie finished ……brilliant film!! so I grabbed some Starbucks and got home around 2am ,Saturday I attended an amazing party with incredible friends and one of the cutest couple ever!!! Loads of 80’s and 90’s my friend was the DJ so that only comes natural. Sunday was a very and I mean very hectic day, after only sleeping for what felt like 4 hours I couldn’t really concentrate but never the less I finished some errands. The afternoon took a completely different toll on me, I reunited with one of the sweetest guy on this planet, he’s charming and very funny and listens to my rubbish it was so refreshing it prepared me for another dreadful week at the office. Am taking a mini internet-vacation and spending my long weekend with friends and family, and some much needed rest.

Are you ready for your daily doze of plain coffee and old fashioned photos? I really do hope so. This weekend when by like a super speed blizzard, it left me wishing for more, like when your having a blast and the clock strikes 12 and you know its late and a reconcile waits for you very early the next day. That’s how this weekend felt, putting all these harsh feelings aside I still had a wicked time, I got to say hello to all my friends all of them!!! it was the most amazing surreal feeling ever being surrounded by pure love makes you feel alive and content with this sarcastic world. My hands can’t grasp my cell phone like it usually does and the cold hair makes my neck tingle and feel like feathers are dancing around it. The smell of wet trees surrounds my nose and the smell of coffee lingers everywhere I go. My winter gloves feel like a restricted area, my fingers can’t really understand why they should hide while every other finger has fun in the cold. And as for me am enjoying every single bit of the beginnings of winter!!!! I feel am falling in love while I sit in my front porch and watch Lando (my dog) play and am holding a hot cup of vanilla tea how magnificent!

Sometimes cloudy days bring melancholy and you enter a reflective mode, but I easily snap out of it and just imagine myself in a different land where the impossible is possible, water comes down from the havens, trees dance to a special song, water chances state for a while allowing people to dance on top of it like human swans. –Oh how I long for winter days………

Winters days make me think of charming events and deep poetry, one example of this would be : LA FUITE DE LA LUNE by: Oscar Wilde;

O outer senses there is peace, A dreamy peace on either hand, Deep silence in the shadowy land, Deep silence where the shadows cease. Save for a cry that echoes shrill From some lone bird disconsolate; A corncrake calling to its mate; The answer from the misty hill. And suddenly the moon withdraws Her sickle from the lightening skies, And to her sombre cavern flies, Wrapped in a veil of yellow gauze.

It is such a magnificent poems and phrases like ; “shadowy lands” and “Deep silence where the shadows cease”. I completely understand this poems in not centering on winter but the emotions are that much dramatic because of the way he describes his surrounding, the surrounding that I utterly long for and enjoy oh so deeply.

The weekend brought a breeze of cold air and it rained all night, my puppy Lando for some bizarre reason loves the rain and refused to stay inside!! Cold mornings are brilliant, even more so when the sun feels like a soft blanket over your skin and not a burning torch…had a charming weekend spent time with family and watched amazing movies like “The Pianist” I cried so much during this movie and it made me think of my own humbleness and appreciation to others. Oh Friday such a lovely day!! It really is and I would of aced this day if I didn’t have a massive fever!!!! Why oh why does this happen to me on a charming Friday? This week was been very iffy I didn’t hit rock bottom or anything but its not my cheerful typical Diana’s happy world week. Last week was brilliant I attended a baby shower for my adorable cousin Norah! She’s the sweetest and to be honest I lost in every single game!! Where do I start with David Bowie?…… personally most of his songs if not all have a massive impact in my mood and the way I see life. My feelings get tangled up in his lyric and fall in an endless abyss of self-indulgence. Hollywood has given marriage such a bad name, they get married today and divorce tomorrow and that’s how the water flows, but these brilliant humans set a steady example of what marriage is all about. Not only are they legally married but they have about two decades supporting one another charming right?

I really wanted to provide a fresh post on Monday unfortunately I was having way too much fun!! LA is getting cloudy and a bit cold, how exiting and thrilling is this. I thought my room couldn’t get darker I was mistaken I tell you, my room looks like the strike of midnight! Which at times makes me rush home throw my shoes off and turn on my cinnamon candle and enjoy the scenery. For the first time in a long time I had to wear a scarf , boy that felt nice, I love spraying perfume on all my scarf’s so when I put them on again, I could snuggle and remember charming moment. The wind is fresh, misty and invigorating what more can I ask from life than pre-winter days like the ones am having right now!! Not to mention I went movie hunting and selected some delicious coco and incredible coffee hahahaha!

This dress is a 60’s original! I love it, its a bit more reviling than all my 50’s dresses, the reason why I mention this is because the dress really does shape your body, its made with delicate curves and the cut is extremely feminine. Plus the color red is one of my favorite I wear it as nail polish all the time!

Its funny I told one of my friend to view my blog and she was a bit shocked apparently its to dark for her hahahahah!! I couldn’t stop laughing I don’t walk the streets in long dark dresses (nothing wrong with that) but I do love dark cloudy places and I love musky, wood scents like amber and vintage rose. But honestly the mystery of black and white photos is exquisite!! Haunting places like forgotten hills and valleys are a wonderful place to have a photo-shoot ,to have some peace of mind, and the night always brings tranquility................ Please enjoy!

Ok something terrible happened, I sent out a wonderful giveaway to my dearest blog friend Amber (she’s the lovelies) and I just received the package today!!! I feel like am Elvis, and am about to write the song called “Return to sender!!” ……..(Hang in there Amber I’ll ship it right back ok, don’t you worry one bit!!) For more cheerful news it’s Friday gosh sometimes the routine is just stressing but this weekend am going out to the countryside Yay! Its funny how girls with curly hair want straight hair and girls with straight hair want curly hair the point is, am a city girl and am thrilled to visit the country side every single time!! But country gals crave the city, it’s a bit comical don’t you agree? At times I cant help myself I go crazy, literally!! Well not literally but while we drive by the most beautiful landscapes I find the most wonderful vintage shops!! I find amazing clothing and furniture I’ll be hones I cant purchase everything I desire but I do pick-up some charming items. I also enjoy the local Farmers Market, they not only have a verity of healthy foods but this particular farmers market has amazing stands of pro-nutritionist!! I sometimes annoy them am sure hahahahah!! Well buds have a wonderful weekend!♥

The heat wave is definitely diminishing and that’s brilliant news for me. Tomorrow is my day off, which explains why I haven’t been blogging on Thursday and as often. Life has been busy am trying to work on personal projects, but today I feel very positive yes like the Rolling Stones said we cant always get what we want, and I want to be the stone that doesn’t roll like led-Zeppelin said. This particular post is my attempt to blog and stay connected to my blogging friends which sometimes is harder that it seems. I’ve been very inspired by music like always and face, human faces…..looking at all the different features just makes me smile it makes me feel like I belong instead of feeling neglected or odd. We all feel the same things and experience unforgettable moments that we will never forget. As I keep babbling about my positive energy the ironic thing is that a listening to Billy Joel “Piano Man” , its funny how so many people feel lonely and full of frustration , feel sick like life has cheated on them or something. Sometimes we hurt the ones we love caused by our uncontrollable frustration. We don’t really care if they have issues of their own we just want to crack them and make them feel something because deep down inside we think they don’t. The truth is that they do yet become the bigger person and suck it up. So lets take our broken wings and lets lean to fly!!

So its autumn apparently, and I say apparently because its 100 degrees outside! Am not liking this heat wave and am sure my make-up droopier in about an hour Ahhhhhhh!!! What shall I do?!! Putting this aside my weekend was brilliant!! I had a little food with family; it was a goodbye get-together for one of my dearest cousins and his wife. We had some amazing fruit salad and warm coffee (despite the temperatures outside) with amazing mini coffeecakes. Me and my friend Brenda watched “Pride and Prejudice ” for the thousand time hahahaha what can we go we love it!! (Apparently she will rehearse some of the dances featured in the film in her wedding, how exiting!!) We had a little star counting in my front yard and they ended-up leaving around 10:30…….. After that I had some serious dish washing to do and some major cleaning up! Sunday was such a chill morning, the afternoon was completely different I was invited to a party in which a had major doubts, the heat was making me extremely lazy and jeans made things worst, when its hot and am wearing jeans I feel suffocated and sticky, so I wore what girls wear a nice fresh vintage like-dress and felt awesome. Had a charming time dancing with my friend Tony and Karen she’s my ultimate dancing partner!! (Love her) how was your weekend?

Good morning………….

Am loving this particular morning it’s gray and cloudy and the cool breeze makes me feel so calm. I’ve always been an extroverted, nature loving and a positive thinker. I have a strong sense of duty and am very cheerful but 75% of the time am worst then a hermit crab. The darkness provides me with endless happiness, at night the light from my phone charger bothers me!!! I tend to stay away from complicated people, people who will alter my positive energy and who judge the way I see life who make me feel out of place and who see life as a disposable thing when in fact we could do so much with the little time we have, those who have a cynical approach to all the hurt and pain going on at the moment.. This week I’ve made some changes in my personal life and they’re already making me feel better, I woke-up smiling and ready to start my day with my typical green shake mmmmm good!!! Sometimes the fight isn’t with other its with ourselves we must forgive ourselves and move forward. We must stop feeling pity and start feeling the power we all have within-us, this power allows us to change the way we see things and inevitably our hearts, It becomes a magnet, and attract even the smallest vive of happiness. We must all stop trying to impress those who don’t deserve to be impressed we must also stop trying to help those who in fact can help themselves they have all the tools to do so, the only difference is that you’re brave and they run away like ideal cowards. This week has been full of strong emotions and regret, I haven’t done anything I regret, but I regret not doing what I know I should do ………..complicated story. Youth is such a black hole full of agony and despair at times, and other moments it’s a ride that I would die to live. The perfect words to describe life would involve words like Beauty, Irony , Friendship , companionship , shy smirks , and misjudged looks. So you many be asking yourself whats Diana talking about well to be honest I have no clue this is the way I feel this morning and I just felt the need to share it with you. In other more exiting news well like I mention before the move was canceled and so the task of unpacking is still current but I want to wish you guys a swell weekend and I’ll provide some weekend inspiration enjoy thank you!!
